Happy New Year!  Back to work with a vengeance after the Christmas and New Year break - hope it was good for all of you.  I had a great time but now it's back to work and decide what we are going to do with ourselves this year.

We have been fulfilling orders this week, despite the snow, although customers are obviously not going out unless they have to.  So, we are busy getting framing examples ready while we have time to draw breath!  We already have in plan an exhibition for just before Easter, but more of that in due course.

Today I had to go to a local supplier to collect jumbo mountboard for a particular job which needs doing for Saturday - a customer has an exhibition to hang from Monday so three pieces need to be finished for Saturday.  Then onto another framer who has a computerised mountcutter to cut the mount - my mountcutter will not take jumbo mountboard - and then back again.  Simon held the fort whilst I was backwards and forwards - the roads weren't too bad at all.  So her artwork will be all ready on Saturday.  I love it when a plan comes together, despite prevailing weather conditions!  Just hope it doesn't snow too badly before Saturday, otherwise she won't be able to pick them up!
