I just spoke to The British Home and they exceeded last year's amount raised! I am so pleased for them. One of the paintings we framed fetched £250!!! Brilliant!

My husband and I went to the Private view and I placed a bid for a mosaic which the residents did together of the face of Buddha. And I won! So I am very happy to have a lovely piece of art but it is very special to me because it was made by the residents of The British Home.

The Home now has a Flower Festival from Friday 9 October to Sunday 11 October, 11am to 4pm. Please support them if you can. Thanks.
